Sikh-Pro Featured in ANI News: A Small but Hopeful Step

Many of us who live away from Punjab or our family gurdwaras know the feeling. We want to keep Gurbani close in our daily life, but the tools we have are often scattered. One app for Nitnem. Another for Hukamnama. Audio here, text there. Over time, that distance can grow quiet but real.

This is the feeling that led to Sikh-Pro.

We are a small team at Gur Sikhi Edtech LLP, a DPIIT-recognized startup based in Bangalore. My sister Saloni and I started this work because we wanted one clear, respectful place where anyone, whether in India, Canada, the UK, the USA, Australia, or anywhere else, could return to Gurbani without complication.

Today, we have a working version of the app ready. It brings together daily Nitnem, Hukamnama, and audio from gurdwaras in one simple experience. We are also building tools that stay true to the original teachings, including an AI companion designed to answer questions directly from Gurbani and Sikh history.

Recently, this effort was featured in a press release on ANI News. You can read it here: Sikh Pro: The Global Super App Merging Technology with Timeless Gurbani

It is not a large announcement. But for a small team working quietly, it feels like a meaningful sign that others see value in what we are trying to build.

Why This Matters

For many in the global Sikh community, staying connected is not just about convenience. It is about keeping a daily relationship with Gurbani alive, even when life and distance make it harder. A single, well-made app cannot replace the gurdwara or sangat, but it can help fill the gaps between visits and keep the rhythm of Nitnem and Hukamnama present in everyday life.

That is the simple purpose behind Sikh-Pro.

We are not trying to create something flashy. We are trying to create something steady — something that feels calm, clear, and rooted.

What Comes Next

We are preparing to open Sikh-Pro more widely in the coming months. The current version already includes daily prayers, Hukamnama, and gurdwara audio. More features, including better support for sewa and community connection, are in development.
